I don’t espouse any specific religious dogma but rather when something reminds me of our collective determination to be all were are designed to be I get excited to share with you!
Sometimes we exert a lot of energy in trying to do things ‘right’. But often these attempts actually hinder our own self-expression.
Have we ever stopped to ask ourselves what if it’s okay to do it our own way?
What if the way we speak, cook, write, dance, sing or do our work is a unique gift?
What if our focus shifted from doing things right to sharing our gifts and talents from the deepest place of love?
Has greatness ever derived from conformity? Most of us would probably answer, “No”, and yet so often this is our unconscious goal—to get it ‘right’, which means to conform to a preconceived idea of what is supposed to be.
Of course we can learn from others’ techniques, methods and ways of doing things. But at what point do we start serving the techniques or methods, or moving into irritation, rather than allowing what we are learning to help us fully express our originality?
The invitation here is to express our own unique genius in all matters. In this way perhaps we can serve our planet in the most authentic, greatest way possible.
And we all know riches will follow…
