The essays by Linda McNamar in the March Science of Mind magazine seem to be really ‘connecting’ to our collective goals, so I have this one and another that I want to share with you as yet another reminder of what we’ve heard in so many other ways, paraphrasing as usual.

invest

If we give halfheartedly, we will receive lukewarmly! is an interpretation of one of the universal laws of giving and receiving. Another way to put this is the perspective from which we invest in life determines the potency with which life returns our investment.

When we are focused on lack and limitation we can expect to experience only more of that!!

This law is really about our attitude and our expectations.

We can only anticipate having in abundance what we are willing in consciousness to give wholeheartedly.

We can only give what we recognize that we already have.

When we are willing to invest all of who we are in a job (we can’t wait for the boss to approve of us before we use our skills and competencies), in a relationship (we don’t have to wait for someone to love us before we love to our full capacity) or in any area of our lives (we must not wait for any part of our lives to become what we want it to before we give of our time and talent), then that investment begins to bear fruit.

To invest means to contribute.

. . . Life is prepared to give back to us in full measure when we invest in it fully.

SUGGESTED AFFIRMATIONS:

”Today I see my world through the eyes of ABUNDANCE!

I give myself wholeheartedly into life from the plentiful supply within me!

LET’S CELEBRATE A NEW BEGINNING THIS EASTER—SPENDING EVERY PENNY OF THIS DEPOSIT IN A MEANINGFUL WAY!!

I was recently reminded that the best ‘lesson’ is a personal example, so when a good friend shared her inspiring story about how asking and receiving worked like 'magic' in her life, I right away thought it might hold some ‘nugget’ for each of us!!

Letting the Universe work with us!

My friend told me that after having sought for many years a 'job' that would fulfill her, she finally chose to begin her own business, keeping her current job just long enough to pay the bills in the interim. However, she had found herself in a stressful situation trying to balance the details necessary to begin her own enterprise along with her 9 to 5 five day a week job. Being available for family activities was also important to her, and all of this combined finally resulted in a physical 'wake up call'. As a result she was quick to take a look at how she could RELAX, cutting back on all her responsibilities. At the same time she made a conscious appeal to the Universe to show her the way.

Her intention had been to resign from her job in several months trusting that her own business would support her, but in an effort to be practical she had also been hesitant. The very next day after her ‘alert’, she got a phone call offering her the possibility of taking on an unlimited number of 'free lance' clients, along with other unexpected referrals which, added to her current case load, would seem to be the ideal situation. She would then be able to schedule her own time.

What a great example of how the Universe has no choice but to work on our behalf once we are clear about what we choose for our lives, and then move out of its way. My friend really got the message (even if it had to be a bit scary), asked for what she preferred then relaxed and the answer was nearly immediate!

Unless we have been requesting deposits from our Infinite Source on our own, the coffers must be nearly empty once again from all the SPENDING we’ve been doing—so here we go again! HAVE SOME FUN!!

As I was reading today’s essay by Linda McNamar in the Science of Mind Magazine entitled BOXES, I thought of us all. So once again I’ve paraphrased to fit our financial goals.

She says: Probably the most beloved ‘toy’ of all times is the plain cardboard box, which is actually displayed in the National Toy Hall of Fame! The imaginations of countless children have turned boxes into forts, hiding places, playgrounds, dollhouses and many other things.

When we feel ‘boxed in’, with a need to see things differently (perhaps as a result of a money ‘issue’), the best thing we can do is to lighten up and turn on our imagination like a child does. We need to look at the circumstance less seriously and open up to the infinite possibilities.

If there is something in our lives that it looks like we just cannot change, then at the very least there is always an opportunity within it. We must not see limitations as problems. Instead we need to think outside the box, exploring all possibilities within Infinite Mind.

Our imaginations can turn any ‘box’ into a plaything just as we can also transform any challenge into a playground where we can explore life more fully giving full rein to our resourcefulness.

Ernest Holmes remind us “Things are ideas in form…there is nothing from which to make things except ideas.”

SUGGESTED AFFIRMATION:

Everything I can imagine is REAL!

My life is all about PLAYING!!!”

Today let’s spend our entire $95,000— from the playgrounds of our imaginations!

Judy's Art of the Month Newsletter

March 2008 Vol. 4, Edition 35

You can say any foolish thing to a dog, and the dog will give you a look that says, 'Wow, you're right! I never would've thought of that!' Dave Barry

Although there is STILL much more to learn, I’m planning to feature this drawing on my website home page soon!! Be sure to check out the other ‘good stuff’ on my blog, too!!

Thanks once again for your continuing interest in my artistic gifts and passion for animals, travel and nature

(it’s a pleasure sharing photographs, drawings, egg carvings, urns and more)!

Early EASTER GREETINGS!!

Although this drawing is on my website, I wanted to pay a special tribute to it this month… A single mother with several children, including this gorgeous pup, commissioned me to do this drawing when I lived in Las Vegas back in 1996. That was before I was asking my clients to deposit at least one half before I began the drawing. Within the couple of weeks it took me to complete this, her phone had been disconnected and I sadly never heard from her again. I do hope all is well with her, her family and this precious dog. Well, it has continued to be one of all time my favorite art pieces since, but I always felt he needed to go to a ‘real’ home.

Not too long ago a rather gruff appearing neighbor and I began a ‘dog conversation’ precipitated no doubt by my walking Black Jack past his house every day. He told me with tears welling up in his eyes that he had lost the “best dog he’d ever had”—a Rotweiller. Well something ‘nagged’ at me until I figured out that this is precisely where my drawing needed to be.

Finally I delivered it and he showed me a photo of his beloved dog (140 pounds!) watching over him after he had broken his leg. Needless to say more tears almost spilled since this looked to them just like their ‘boy’.

At last there is completion…

Please feel free to pass my blog and website info on to others like yourself who enjoy my creations.

HAPPY AND HEALTHY reality check!

Usually my extreme exuberance for being positive works, however there are simply moments we all encounter that seem insurmountable. Just this morning I was notified that security must be tightened in one of our loving and open-minded organizations due to one ‘bad seed’. Right now I’m feeling sorrow once again for the way of living that we human beings seem to have created for ourselves. So I went back to the reminder I ran into recently from the March issue of Science of Mind Magazine written by Linda McNamar—that there is yet another way to look at these trials. Paraphrased...

Wouldn't it be wonderful if we knew there was going to be a reward after every test in our lives, something we could look forward to with certainty in the midst of our trials and tribulations? There is no guarantee that life will always turn up in ways that we like, but by practicing the universal principles, we find ways to heal, to renew and to begin again.

Some people suggest that we focus on looking for the good in every situation, yet some events may be so painful that we don't even want to know if there is something good in them. So, instead of asking ourselves "What is good about this?" we might ask, "What truth is here for me to know in this situation?" or "How can I deepen my conscious connection with Spirit right here and right now?"

The advantage of adversity is that it gives us an opportunity to experience the absolute unity of Spirit as everything. This truth is, we are always one with God; as we build a consciousness of our oneness it will permeate our viewpoint of everything. IN this oneness with Spirit we have the choice to be defeated by our circumstances, or to come out the other side of adversity with greater wisdom, serenity and goodwill.

Today I’m very pleased to announce that one of our prosperity thinking family is offering all of us a very special gift. Gypsy has been playing our wealth visioning game since its inception in April 2005.

Besides having provided many inspiring anecdotes she is the one who developed an accounting system so we could better visualize our infinite flow of abundance.

While some of you many not have reached the Golden Years yet, you are sure to find Gypsy’s tidbits of wisdom ageless. She welcomes you, your friends and any supportive comments.

Let’s gather together to dance through the GOLDEN YEARSas it was meant to be celebrated!

I invite you to come with me and enjoy the Journey of our "older" years together. As we age we sometimes feel like we become invisible. We feel when we look into the mirror, we are reminded of our own mortality. We feel pushed aside and ignored by the very people we devoted our life to raising and nurturing.

We are not the old CRONES as depicted on their broomstick at Halloween. Crone means wise woman and keeper of secrets.

I say, it is now that we have come into our FULL POWER. We "GRAY-HAIRS" have a lot to offer. So, let's begin by supporting each other with positive communications and interactions. Also, let us be there for each other in times of need and desperation....

Come join the "CIRCLE" and embrace this time in our lives.

ANOTHER INVITATION TO SEE LIFE AS “ALL GOOD”!!

Several days ago as I wrote before, I had the following idea which I think some of you might enjoy ‘playing’ with me--HAPPY AND HEALTHY (and we can also include3 WEALTHY!) .COM from observing others who sadly seemly define themselves by the degree of their dysfunction.

So they get to have a 'society' of their own. There seem to be many societies based on similar dis-eases from addictions to abuse. While these are very valuable sources of support, I thought perhaps it’s time for another society founded upon the Universal Laws for those of us who focus on our chronic happiness, health AND wealth. So now you can join me in the HAPPY AND HEALTHY/WEALTHY.COM "support group"!

See the interesting blog posts that I’ve come up with as well as one from your ‘group’.

I've truly been having a great time seeking the Good behind some of the everyday frustrations in my life—even when I just want to sometimes stay in my ‘grungies’! Seeing how these feelings get me nowhere however, helps me return to the more productive moment of Now.

So check out some of the new postings on my blog—including an inspirational realization from one of you!

HAPPY AND HEALTHY.COM comment!

Frustration, yep, I have had a few days of it, too. A couple days of some very unacceptable behavior from teenagers in the neighborhood. Anger, disbelief and just down right being disgusted. Anger with teens, anger with parents, anger with the community I live in. Enough anger to turn in a written complaint and high hopes that some parties may be forced to leave this community. Then the 24 hours pass and the anger looses its fire and reality begins to set in. In retrospect, I actually do believe that my actions were warranted considering the circumstances. Yet, when I look at the problem and look at it with an open mind, I realize that something positive needs to be done. Pushing issues never seems to get anywhere, but finding the root of the problem...perhaps that offers something. So, it seems as though the Universe is throwing out some hints and tidbits for me to ponder.....
Are the teenagers the true problem.....or does it boil down to irresponsible parenting or maybe even parents who HAVE to work and cannot be home with these kids....probably a combination of all of the above.
While I have been living here, I have been really unhappy because I don't seem to be able to find a friend or friends. I have truly prayed to be living somewhere else, more compatible with my interests, etc. So, the thought comes to the forefront of my brain: "THE UNIVERSE HAS YOU EXACTLY WHERE YOU NEED TO BE!" Duh, not exactly what I wanted to hear. But, given the fact that I am open minded, I began to think of what reasons I could possible be here. For some weird reason, King Arthurs Round Table popped into my mind...and then my thoughts turned to a community round table where not only adults were involved, but teenagers. Perhaps if we LISTENED to them, we could find out how to get along. Then my mind began thinking of constructive activities the young people could become involved in and how many adults could probably share some knowledge with these kids, help with school work, etc. So, perhaps, I will find my answers to friends in places I never dreamed.
P.S. Next day: My, oh my! What can transpire in a day! Guess who just got appointed to come up with things to help the kids in the park??? Yep, my husband and me. That's what happens when you put it out there to the Universe.

HAPPY AND HEALTHY comment!

On today's daily walk I saw a bumper sticker that expresses my sentiments pretty closely after the trying morning I experienced: "Some days all I want to be is a missing person". And it's also the Universe's way of loudly and clearly reminding me to take these small every day trials way more lightly!

HAPPY AND HEALTHY comment

This morning I was feeling a bit frustrated that tomorrow I have to wait the 4 hours to see when a technician will arrive to re-do the installment of a service that intentionally wasn't done correctly the first time. Then had to chuckle looking for the Good and realized it's precisely for me to look at the frustration and impatience that looms way to large for me sometimes. Then I thought about how good it will feel to know it's done correctly and I'm getting maximum 'bang for my bucks'. Finally by the time I decided to post this the feelings had already dissipated! [These are the silly little things I hope people will be looking for in their lives and share with me/us...]
